Smoke Control Systems
System assessment and testing
Section 7.3 of Division B of the Ontario Fire Code establishes requirements for the inspection, testing and maintenance of smoke control equipment in applicable buildings. Where procedures established by the original system designer are unavailable, the smoke control system may require an assessment and the development of written procedures for periodic inspections and testing.
